A monthly Welsh language non-denominational periodical that published articles on religion, literature and more general subject matters. The periodical was initially edited by the author, musician and Calvinist Methodist minister, John Mills (Ieuan Glan Alarch, 1812-1873), and subsequently by his successor the author and Congregationalist minister, David Hughes (1813-1872).
