Y eisteddfod

The quarterly Welsh language literary periodical of the Eisteddfod Council that published essays, poetry and music submitted for competition to the National Eisteddfod. The periodical was edited by the literary critic, poet and secretary of the Eisteddfod Council, William Williams (Creuddynfab, 1814-1869) until April 1866, and subsequently by John Prydderch Williams (Rhydderch o Fôn, 1830-1868).
