A monthly bilingual general periodical that published scientific articles alongside articles on more general subjects. The periodical was edited by its founder, the Liverpool solicitor Joseph Davies (d. c.1831), who took a particular interest in science and was responsible for the coining of a number of new Welsh words in that field.
