A quarterly Welsh language periodical from the Wesleyan Methodists that covered religious issues, specifically defending the Wesleyans against attacks on their constitutional principles by the supporters of congregational independence. The periodical was edited by the minister and bibliographer, the Reverend William Rowlands (Gwilym Lleyn, 1802-1865), who was also responsible for editing Yr Eurgrawn Wesleyaidd.
