GENERAL COMMITTEE. A meeting of the General Committee was held at the Church Hall, Pwllheli, on Monday, August 9, 1926, at 8 p.m. Present Major C. E. Breese, in the Chair Prof. J. E. Roberts, F.S.A., Senior General Secretary. Minutes.-The Minutes of the last meeting, printed in Arch. Camb., Vol. LXXXI, p. 211, were taken as read, and confirmed and signed. Letters.-Letters of apology for absence were received from Sir E. Vincent Evans, V.P. Capt. Howard Cunnington, V.P. Mr. Percy J. Williams (S. Wales General Secretary) The Hon. Mrs. Bulkeley Owen, Mr. J. C. Davies, Mr. Robert Richards, Mr. Besant Lowe, Rev. W. Morgan Jones, Mr. Lemuel Jones, Major-General Sandbach, F.S.A., Mr. Neil Baynes, F.S.A. Report of the General Committee.-The Report of the General Committee was submitted by the Chairman, and, after certain verbal amendments, unanimously adopted. Treasurer's Report.-The Treasurer, Mr. T. E. Morris, presented his Annual Report, which was unanimously adopted. Editors' Report.-The Rev. Ellis Davies submitted the Editors' Report, which was unanimously adopted. It was reported that Mr. Francis Green had not begun the work of preparing Menevia Sacra for the press, and that he desired direction. On the motion of Canon Fisher, seconded by the Rev. Ellis Davies, it was resolved that the Editors deal with the matter. Report of the Excavations Committee.-The Report of the Excavations Committee was submitted by Mr. Harold Hughes. In view of the fact that the work of excavating The Battle Tump," Mon., was not likely to be proceeded with in the near future, it was agreed to strike out the proposed increased grant of £ 10. The Rev. Canon Singers-Davies suggested that the grant of £ 10 recommended to be made to the work at Caerleon be increased to £ 20. On the motion of Prof. Lloyd, seconded by the Rev. D. Ambrose Jones, it was resolved to adhere to the original recommendation of £ 10. The Report as amended was then agreed to.
