MANOR OF KILVEY. 361 the Mannor of Millwood, which Richard Seys, Esq., is Lord of, The Fee of Trewyddva (a member of the Mannor of Pen- nard), and the Mannor of Grower Supraboscus, both which the said Duke is Lord of, The Mannor of Cadoxton iuxta Neath, wch the Daughters & Heires of Philipp Hoby, Esqr, late de¬ ceased, are Lad yes of, and the Mannor of Neath Citra & Britton (late the Mannor of Philipp late Earle of Pembroke and Mountgomery deceased) are the Mannors next bordering on this Mannor, on all partes and sides thereof, and that the Tenants of this Mannor of Kilvay doe claime liberty to inter- comon onely uppon the Commons of the said Duke within the said Seignory. TO THE EIGHTH ARTICLE, the said Jurors doe say —That they doe not know of any Lands which of right doe belong unto the Lords of the said Mannor that are concealed & wrongfully enioyed by any person or persons whatsoever, nor doe they know that any person doth claime any right in any Uninclosed Wasts, Moores, or Burrowes within the said Man¬ nor, other than the freehoulders of the said Mannor, who claime the same by their ancient Deeds, to which the said Jurors doe referre themselves. TO THE NINTH ARTICLE, the said Jurors doe say- That severall Cottages and Encroachments have of late yeares been erected and encroached uppon the Highwayes within this Mannor, which Cottages and Encroachments are now inhabited and held by the persons hereafter named, but the Freehoulders of the said Mannor whose lands lye contiguous to the said Cot¬ tages and encroachments claime right thereto— DAVID EDWARD houldeth a House lately erected by one Morgan David, part whereof hath been encroached out of the Highway leading from a Place called Llydyatty same to Bone y mane, within the said Mannor.
