360 MANOR OF KILVEY. present That Whitemoor lyeing near the Salthouse in the Parish of Swanzey within this Mannor, is a parcell of Wast ground within the said Mannor, the Soil whereof they prsent to belong unto the Lord and the herbage thereof to the Tenants of the said Mannor. And they alsoe present That all open and uninclosed ground from the River Tawe, at the end of the Freehold land of "William Herbert, Esqre, called Tir Glandwr on the West side, to Sl Thomas Chappel in the late Burrough of Bettus on the East, and from the enclosed Lands of the free- hould Tenants of the said Mannor on the North, to low water marke on the South are the Lords Wast, and that all Freehold Tenants of the said Mannor have right to intercomon there— Saveing to all Freehoulders and others all such right as they can make out by ancient evidence or writeing for the same or any parte thereof—And they further present That all open and uninclosed ground, from the said Chappell of Sl Thomas in the Burrough of Bettus, on the West, to the Boundary of the said Mannor near Crymlin Bridge, on the East, and from the in¬ closed Lands of the Tenants of the said Mannor on the North to low Water marke on the South to be likewise the Lords Waste, and that all the Freehould Tenants of the said Mannor have right to intercomon there : Saveing to all the Free¬ houlders, and others, such right as they can make out by an¬ cient evidence or Writeing for the same, or any parte thereof —Provided such Evidence be produced and true Coppyes thereof left either with the said David Evans, or Godfrey Har- court, before the six & twentyeth day of March which shall be in the yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred eighty and eight. > TO THE SIXTH ARTICLE, the said Jurors doe say & p'sent That the Tenants & Inhabitants of the said Mannor doe claime to have the liberty to intercomon without number with the Tenants and Inhabitants of the Seignory of Gower upon the Comons within the said Seignory.
