MARRIAGE. October 21st—William Jones, 23, Albert Street, Upper Bangor, to Mary Davies, Fronoleu, Upper Bangor. DEPARTURE OF THE REV R. R. HUGHES FROM BANGOR. A FAREWELL SERMON. The Rev. R. R. Hughes, curate of St. Mary's Church, Bangor, who has been appointed to the curacy of Glanogwen (Bethesda), delivered his farewell sermon at St. Mary's Church on Sunday evening. Though Mr. Hughes has been but two years at Bangor, he has gained many friends, and was held in high esteem by the members of the Church. In the morning he preached to the English congregation, when the choir gave a good rendering of the anthem, " Jesu, Word of God " (Gounod).
