THE ANNUAL SALE OF WORK. A meeting of the members of the Welsh and English congregations of St. Mary's was held at the Sailors' Institute, Hirael, on Monday, May 19th, to make the necessary arrangements for carrying on the Sale of Work. It was decided that the Sale should be worked on exactly the same lines as last year, the same ladies being responsible for their respective Stalls, with this difference, that the Sale this year is not under the management of any one particular lady, but that a Secretary is to be appointed later on who will arrange the details in connection with the Sale. This plan will, we believe, work admirably. There is really no need for any one lady to be personally responsible, as we have by this time become all so accustomed to the Sale that each one knows her own work, and sets about doing it in her own way. The date of the Sale will be announced later on. Some members of our Welsh Sunday School suggested that we should publish in our magazine the rules and programme of religious subjects for 1902-3 in the diocese of Bangor. The English Sunday School has been in the habit of going in for the Diocesan Examination for some years, and the Welsh Sunday School now proposes to do the same. The following are the Rules and Programme of Religious Subjects for 1902-3 :— 1.—Date of Examination : That the Paper Examination be held during any four hours and a half on the First Saturday in June. 2.—Place: In each Parish, if desired, but under the superintendence of the Diocesan Inspector, o of a deputy appointed by him. 3-—Time : One hour and a half allowed for each paper.
