THE EXAMINATION IN RELIGIOUS KNOWLEDGE IN THE NATIONAL SCHOOL. The children of the lower Bangor National School were examined in religious knowledge, by the Rev. A. O. Evans, B.A., the Diocesan Inspector, on Tuesday, April 3rd. There was a large attendance of children. The examination commenced soon after 9 o'clock in the morning and continued throughout the day, the Infant department having been examined on the previous day. The children once more creditably acquitted themselves, while the answers in some of the lower Standards showed great intelligence and very careful training. Where all did so well, it would be
