Aged 46 years. -George Jones, 53, Well street, Bangor. Aged 54 years. THE ANNUAL SALE OF WORK. The Annual Sale of Work was held on Wednesday, November 2nd, in the National Schoolroom, Garth Road. Mrs. Assheton-Smith, Vaynol, who had kindly consented to perform the opening ceremony, telegraphed at the last moment to say that owing to a business engage¬ ment she would not be able to be present at the opening, but hoped to come in later in the course of the day. In her absence, Mrs. Lewis, the Deanery, was good enough to perform the ceremony. We take this opportunity of thanking Mrs. Assheton-Smith for her kindness in forwarding a cheque of £,$ towards the Sale. The Sale which was under the management of Mrs. Hall, Green Bank, Garth, realized the handsome total of ^ c00, which is the largest sum yet realized from any Sale of Work in connection with St. Mary's. Great credit is due both to the parishioners of St. Mary's for their help and co-operation, and to Mrs. Hall for the magnificent manner in which she
