"LLYFR GWEDDI YR EGLWYSWR." By Rev. J. Arthur Evans, M.A., Vicar Choral of St. David's Cathedral. Some little time ago we promised to call the attention of our readers on another occasion to the above valuable book which has been recently published. We have now much pleasure in publishing the following short review which has been written by the Dean of Bangor, who has very kindly promised to continue the review in our next issue of the Magazine.—Editor. [By the Dean of Bangor]. We wish to call the attention of all Churchmen, who attend our Welsh services, to an edition of the Book of Common Prayer, with explanatory notes, by the Rev. J. Arthur Evans, Minor Canon of St. Davids'. The editor well deserves the thanks of Churchmen for the labour he has bestowed upon the work. The notes are useful and instructive, and ought to enable our Welsh people to realize the beauty of our " Common Prayer," and to use it with more reverence, and greater appreciation. We jttust confess that it is not to the credit of our clergy that no such notes, so far as we know, have ever before been placed within the reach of our Welsh Congregations, and, in the absence of some special 'nstruction, we fear that the great mass of our people miss much of the beauty and significance of the services in which they join in public worship. We hope to take another opportunity to make some observations on several points in the notes, but now content ourselves with calling attention to the oook.
