Arrangements have been made for holding the Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 3rd, and Monday evening, October 4th. We have been fortunate in securing the services of the Rev. S. Rowland Jones, Vicar of Glyn-Taff, Glamorganshire, Rev. Principal Fairchild, and the Rev. David Richards, Vicar of Blaenau Festiniog. The Vicar of Glyn-Taff will preach in Welsh on Sunday, October 3rd, at 9.30 a.m. and 6 p.m., and also in English at the 11.30 a.m. Service. The Vicar of Blaenau Festiniog will preach in Welsh, on Monday evening, October 4th, the service commencing at 7 o'clock. On Sunday evening, October 3rd, a formal opening service will be held in the New Schoolroom, Garth Road, when the Rev. Principal Fairchild will preach. Collections will be made at all the services in aid of " The Additional Curates Society." The decorators are desired to meet in St. Mary's Church on Saturday morning, Oct. 2nd, at 10 o'clock. It is to be hoped that members of our congregation, who are in a position to do so, will send contributions of flowers, fruits, and evergreens for the decorations.
