The total of both Welsh and English Communicants To relieve the preSsurJhere were over in Welsh at 6.30 a.m. were over 170 Communicants at the 8 o'clock Celebration, at the 8 o'clock, we have decided upon having this year a Celebration ,,f , 1 . 1 ,, , ^nis is the earliest hour at which we have hitherto had a Celebration in St. Mary s, om we snail be mUch surprised if we do not find a goodly number of faithful Welsh people present at that early hour. We shall adopt the same plan as last year of sending printed cards round the parish by the district Visitors I he heads of families are requested to fill in the cards according to the printed instructions by placing a mark opposite their names, to denote the hour they intend making their communion. The District Visitors will call for the card early in the week before Easter, This method is now adopted in many parishes, and has the two-fold advantage of reminding the parish¬ ioners of their duty to communicate on Easter Day—the Great Festival—of the Christian Church, and giving an approximate idea to the Clergyman of the number of Communicants he may expect at each celebration.
