Rawlins, (which appears to have been his correct name,) His Majesty's chief engraver, for payment for the silver and engraving of seals for Wales and Ireland, on the Restoration, Annexing, a Bill for six seals engraved by Thos. Rawlins, from July 30 to Sept. 24, 1660, total ^274 2s. 6d., and Copies of notes from Sec. Nicholas to Mr. Rawlins, from July 20 to Sept. 13, ordering the engraving of a privy seal and council seal for Ireland ; a judicial seal for cos. Denbigh, Flint, and Montgomery ; two for Anglesey, Carnarvon, and Merioneth ; one for Radnor, Brecknock, and Glamorgan, and one for Pembroke, Carmarthen, and Cardigan; also of receipts for the said seals. It would be interesting to know where any of these old judicial seals of Wales are to be found at the present day. (To be continued.) THE MANOR OF TALIvYN. Where Tallyn House, co.
