Refusal of Ralph Clare, Keeper of the deer in Tickenhill, alias Bewdley Park, to allow him and the Council of Wales free occupancy of the lodge, for administrationn of justice in Wor¬ cestershire. Requests instructions thereon, and on the patent for the herbage of the park, granted to the inhabitants of Bewdley, which is injurious to the deer. Aug. 7.—Ludlow Castle. Ralph Lord Eure to Salis¬ bury, on the same subject. Has sent the letters from the Privy Council to the Sheriffs of the four English counties, ordering their performance of processes from the Court of Wales. Desires time for the payment of the first subsidy. Aug. 10.—Holdenby. Earl of Salisbury to Sir Hugh Beeston, and three others. Order to survey Holt Castle, and send estimates of the expense for repairs of the same, and of the value of the materials, if it be demolished. (To be continued.)
