Jacson of Moreton Save, our old Missioner, will pay us a visit next week, though we are sorry that he can only stay a couple of nights. He will address the C.E.T.S. on Monday evening, Feb. 10, at 8 o'clock, when we shall be glad to see any¬ one interested in temperance or intemper¬ ance. Mr. Jacson will conduct a Service of Intercession in the Parish Church on Tues¬ day evening, at 7-30, with an address and after-meeting. Intercessions should be placed in the box near the door as early, as possible. We are glad to see from the papers that Mr. Gower Jones has been appointed to the important living of Wingates, and wish him every success in his new sphere. A very appreciative paragraph as to his work ap¬ peared in the local press. Mr. David Williams, Barrister-at-law, gave a very excellent address on Church Defence on Jan. 28, when there was a fair but not remarkably good attendance, We hope to arrange another meeting for mem¬ bers of the Church Defence and Instruction League before long. All were glad to see Mr. Parker Jones on Sunday, Jan. 19, and especially pleased to note how he has improved in health during his residence at Towyn. Feb. 2nd was Guild Sunday (the extra early Celebration being taken by the Rev. Albert Warren) when the attendance of communicants was about the same as last year. There are very many who would benefit in regularity and devotion by joining the Guild and attending the monthly ser¬ vice. Dramatic.—" Dan, the Newsboy " and " The Enchanted Glen " will be performed at the National Schools on April 22 and 23. C.E.T.S.—The programmes at the weekly meeting during the past month were varied and interesting. Two departures were made —one being the appointment of a committee at each meeting to " look up " the absent
