Further particulars in our next. Rummage Sale.—Readers are asked to bear the Rummage Sale in mind. We have far less than usual in hand at the time of writing, and we hope all our churchpeople will make an effort to secure a satisfactory supply. Much Llanidloes matter is unavoidably held over owing to pressure of copy from other parishes. BURIALS. October 24.- Thomas Griffiths, Crugnant, aged 79 years. LLANGURIG. The Harvest Festival Services were held as follows:—Tuesday, October 22, 7 p.m., Welsh ; Wednesday, Oct. 23, 10-30 a.m., 2-30 p.m., English ; 6-30 p.m., Welsh. All the services were exceedingly well attended, and the ministrations of Revs. J. Richards, Darowen, and T. Smith, Llanbrynmair, were much appreciated. The church decorations were in the hands of Mrs. Lewis, Miss Anwyl, Miss Rovvbotham and Master Leslie Rowbotham. An abundant supply of flowers, plants, fruit vegetables, &c, had been kindly provided by Mrs. Lloyd-Verney, Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Rowbotham, Miss Anwyl, Miss Evans, Messrs. Joseph Davies, T. Lovell and Austen Poole. The Welsh anthem " Daionus yw yr Arglwydd," was very well rendered, the duet being effectively taken by Miss E. Evans and Miss Rowbotham. It was a happy idea to provide dinner and tea at the Church house, so that friends from a distance might be enabled to attend all the services. The Church house hospital¬ ity was provided by the following families, Pantdrain, Pengeulan, Penbryn, Rhoscastell, Blue Bell, School House, Glangwy, Gilgwr- gan Fawr, Troedyresgair, Vicarage. The collections were in aid of the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge. LLANDINAM. G.F.S.—A united meeting of associates, members and candidates was held at Llwyn- derw on the 8th of October. Fortunately it was a very fine day so a good number were able to be present. Mrs. Basil-Jones gave an address and invited questions as to the methods and work of the Society, after which tea was enjoyed by all. The day proved extremely wet and a thunderstorm passed over Llandinam so only a few were able to face the weather. The Litany of Intercession was sung and special interces¬ sions were sent in, and were added, and two hymns sung. After all was over the mem¬ bers present adjourned to Lhvynderw to tea. We owe our grateful thanks to the Vicar of Carno for cycling over in such a storm and we wish more could have heard him. One new member joined. The Rev. Herbert Davies, of Maesmawr Hall, kindly assisted the Vicar on Sunday, Oct. 13th, and preached both at morning and evening service. Mr. Davies has just started to the Holy Land, we all wish him God speed. The members of Banhadlog Church were busy on Monday, Oct. 14th, decorating this Church for their Harvest Home. Beautiful flowers and other offerings were sent from Gogarth, Banhadlog Hall, Plas Tylwch, Old Chapel Farm, Gandulas Leather Works, Tylwch Mill, etc. Two members of the congregation presented a miniature rick
