The Vicar desires to thank his congregation very heartily for the liberality with which they have again contributed to the Easter Offering, The amount-— just over £l7—is a little below the average of past years, but taking into consideration the great losses the Church has suffered recently, it compares very favourably. The special Lent Services were on the whole very well attended, especially those on Tuesday, when the Story of the Cross or a Litany was sung; and on Thursday, which was the " Strange Preachers'1? night, though the congregations fell away towards the end. The Vicar's two series of addresses on Mondays and Wednesdays did not prove very attractive.
