A Rummage Sale will beheld on Monday, December 21st, at 7 p.m., at the National Schools. Admission 2d. ' The Vicar who is personally responsible for the above debt earnestly begs the help of all readers and friends, in doing all they can to make the Sale a success by sending anything and everything they can spare. He hopes that all who have assisted in the past as sellers Ac. will again give their services. Mrs. Hesse who was a sister of the late Mrs. Greoige Roberts, formerly lived in Llanidloes and was much respected. The service in connection with the Mothers' Union on November 19oh, was very well attended, some sixty members being present. The Vicar of Bnilth took his text from Levit. xxiv. 11 ' And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan,' and from these apparently uninteresting words evolved a series of most useful and practical lessons on a mother's influence, duties and responsi¬ bilities. There will be Celebrations of Holy Communion on Christmas Day at 8, 9, 10 (Welsh), and mid-day, and we hope that all our communicants will come at one oi? other of these Services to greet their Newborn King.
