LLANDSNAM. The Royal Wedding .•—The 6th, the day of the -ttoyal Wedding was quite a Gala day in this 'Parish. °e Church Bells commenced early to ring out QViJ peals, and continued to do so at intervals Ur«ig the day. The Plas Dinam Family generously Pr°vicled abundance of Tea and cake for the whole Parish. There was tea laid out on the drive leading Plas Dinam for all frcm the village and the immediate neighbourhood, also at Llidiart-y-Waen and Oakley Park for the people residing in those districts. At night there was a grand display of fireworks on Plas Dinam grounds, which was most successfully managed by Mr. Blackley, and was a real treat to most of those present, as the majority of them had never witnessed anything of the kind be¬ fore ; and it will be sure to impress the event of the day indelibly on the minds of the children, whose frequent exclamations of delight proved how thoroughly they enjoyed it all. The funeral took place on Thursday, the 13th ult., at Llangurig, when a vast concourse of the inhabitants and others attended as a mark of respect for the de¬ ceased and of sympatic for the bereaved family. Cn the Sunday following the funeral sermon was preached to a large congregation by the Vicar, who took for his text Job XIV., 1 & 2. Mrs. Davies was greatly respected in the parish, and the deepest sympathy is felt for her bereaved husband who has been left with the care of four children. During the previous week Mr. Edward Morgan died at Troedylon, at the ripe age of 83 years. He had
