The pro¬ moters believe that they have reason to congratulate themselves upon the success which has hitherto attended their under¬ taking, and they desire to avail them¬ selves of the present opportunity to thank the many kind friends who have in various ways so largely contributed to bring about this satisfactory result, but they are persuaded that it only needs the putting forth of a little more effort, especially on the part of the Clergy, in making known the value of the Magazine as a faithful record of Church work throughout the Diocese, and in pro¬ moting its circulation, to make its present success far greater than it is. They venture, therefore, as well in the interests of the Church as of the Magazine, to make an earnest appeal for this addi¬ tional help, and feel confident that thei appeal will not be made in vain.
