Ecclesiastical Intelligence. At a Special Service held at the Palace Chapel, on Tuesday morning, the 12th September, the Lord Bishop of Llandaff licensed the following Curates :— The Rev. William Charnell, to St. Woolos, Newport, Mon. ,, Francis Biddulph Clive, to Undy, near Newport, Mon. ,, Benjamin Jones Evans, B.A., to Llantrisant (Glam.). ,, William Jenkins, to Machen, near Newport, Mon. ,, Thomas Lewis Jones, B.A., to Llan¬ trisant (Glam.). ,, Thomas Price, B.A., to St. Paul's, Grangetown, Cardiff. ,, Robert William Pritchard, B.A., to St. Mary's, Cardiff. ,, Thomas Richards, B.A., to All Saints', Cardiff. The Bishop also granted Lay Reader's licenses to— Mr. John Thomas and Mr. David Hughes, for the Parish of Ystradyfodwg; and to Mr. Albert Charles Willis, for the Parish of Llantrisant (Glam.). At a Special Service held at the Palace Chapel, Llandaff, on Monday morning, the 23rd October, the Lord Bishop of Llandaff instituted— The Rev. William Alfred Edwards, M.A., to the Rectory of Llangan, Bridgend; and also licensed the following Curates:—Rev. William Jones, to Bedwas and Ruddry; Rev.
