THE TWELVE APOSTLES.-A curious old "favour" in Disraeli's colours has been presented to one of the London political clubs (Conservative), and is exhibited in the library. It was worn at the banquet ab Shrewsbury in November, 1841, to the twelve Tory M. P. 's for Salop, locally known as " The Twelve Apostles." The donor of this in¬ teresting old relic himself walked in the procession of 1,000 members that celebrated the event. It bears the inscription, "All Friends round the Wrekin, in 1841." W.O. OLD RECORDS ON WALES AND THE MARCHES.—A friend has been good enough to lend me the following references to some Welsh and March records, Temp. Edward I., II., and III., and inasmuch as they may be useful to others, I have thought it best to send them on to Bye-Gones for publication before the originals are returned to the owner.
