whilst Methodist preachers apparently preached fairly regularly at Llanfihangel Tre'r Beirdd and at a place called Glan-y-gors near Nantanog. It was to these latter places, I submit, that William Jones of Trefollwyn took John Wesley on that Sunday. afternoon in March, 1748. I am deeply grateful to Mr. J. This book, written by Dr. William Rees, Professor of History at the University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire, was published recently by The Venerable Order of the Hosptial of St. John of Jerusalem.
