A monthly Welsh language periodical that published stories, poetry and serialised novels. The periodical was edited by the minister and poet, Richard Parry (Gwalchmai, 1803-1897), the poet Thomas Parry (Llanerchydd, c.1809-1874), Hugh Owen (Meilir), John Roose (Chemicus) and Owen Hughes (Cynfarwy).
