Y Fflam ['the flame'] was a Welsh-language quarterly literary magazine containing poems, short stories, book reviews and artwork. It also includes publisher’s advertisments. Its editors, J Gwyn Griffiths, Davies Aberpennar and Euros Bowen, promoted the work of Welsh-language writers aligned with Plaid Cymru and radicalism, including R S Thomas. It was published between 1946 and 1952
